It is based on PAN-Carbon and graphite felt and bonded with special binding agent.
Thecomposites is carbonized. It's characteristics include rigid,self-standing capability,low specific gravity.It hasn't short carbon fiber pulling-out, and has low thermal conductivity. It's operated at temperatures up to 3000.It's widely used as insulation in high press quench furnacs, pressure sinter- ing and carbofrax recrystallize furnaces.It is available in flat plat,disc,cylinder and other forms.It has longer service life, and is easy setting/removal.At present,the composite is idea thermal insulation material at vacuum furnace industry in my country.The product can be surface-treated by special coating,graphite paper/cloth lining,graphite foil lilning ect,to prevent fluffing.
